Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has created a lasting impression in the world of television. Her parents are the Irish-Americans and Mexicans. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio on the 26th of December, 1976. Within a short time she moved to Texas and pursued her training in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas then moved into Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities that included local independent films and worldwide commercials. Despite having small roles she discovered her passion to act. After 2001, she relocated from the Midwest to New York where her first character was on All My Children's daytime soap as Rosa Santos. Through the early part of 2000, she played small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first big series part on the short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano and was paired with the greatest TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. She appeared on Law & Order in 2006. played A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. She then joined the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards for her character, such in the category of Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominations.
